The Stalk Market compostable family of products from Inno-Pak delivers outstanding serving performance, with all the same qualities as standard petroleum-based, non-compostable plastic tableware products. Made from PLA, a plant-based alternative that eliminates the need for petroleum-based plastics, all Stalk Market products feature biopolymers which are 100% natural plant sugars, 100% BPI certified compostable, and meet all ASTM 6400 composting requirements, as well as being Cedar Grove approved.
This product is BPI-certified and CMA-accepted as commercially compostable, though facilities may not exist in all areas. It is not intended for use with hot items and is free of intentionally added PFAS. The sugar-based ingeo biopolymer from NatureWorks is fully compostable within 90 to 120 days in commercial composting facilities, meeting ASTM D6400 or D6868 standards and intended to be composted in a municipal or commercial facility operated in accordance with best composting management practices.
Furthermore, this product is 100% USDA certified as a biobased product, and it features a new one-piece design for 2016.
